Working on project with USAF building and migrating Sharepoint 2010 and 2013 farms. Building using Windows 2008 R2/Windows 2012 R2, MS Clustering Service, SQL Server 2008/2012 and Sharepoint 2010/2013. Configure Windows, SQL Server, and IIS as needed. Running SCAP tool and assessing vulnerabilities. Using SCAP viewer, RSOP, and Local Security policies to assess current security settings. Review ACAS scans and apply appropriate Microsoft patches and security settings. Developed powershell scripts to inventory approximately 100 servers. Rebuilt test lab from scratch. 4/2011 – 7/2015 USA TAMC, Honolulu, HI GS12 Systems Analyst
Serves as the Department of Surgery Systems Analyst. Accomplishes IT projects for the Department of Surgery and Tripler Army Medical Center. Works directly with Vendors, USAMMA, USAMITC, Tripler AMC (Telecom, Networks, Systems, HIPAA) and Department/Clinic POCs in development of Policies, Plans, Documentation, and delivery of services. Ensures the IT program is in compliance with higher authority policies and guidelines. Ensures the application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices. Assists in technical evaluations and determination of requirements for new and existing systems to include interconnection of multi-vendor systems, and communications specifications. Duties include the design and development of web services using HTML and Cold Fusion. Responsible for helping to maintain the high-availability of USARPAC’s Enterprise server architecture which includes 28 Active Directory 2003 Domain Controllers, 38 Exchange 2003 Servers, 8 DHCP/WINS Servers, 13 NAS Servers. Primarily responsible for maintenance of 28 Altiris servers which control ESM patching, inventory, application management, and software delivery for enterprise. Developed code in VBScript and WMI to maintain systems throughout USARPAC. Developed custom reports using SQL.

Assisted the US Army and Dell with the design and documentation of in progress migration of US Army Pacific network from Windows NT 4 to Windows 2003 — network covers Hawaii, Alaska, Japan, and Okinawa and approximately 18,000 nodes. Review of Windows 2003 infrastructure, server configuration, email configuration, active directory (AD), and all objects within active directory. Developed CONOPS for enterprise applications. Built AD lab, configured software for testing – tested technical feasibility of proposed Windows 2003 configurations. Reviewed proposed naming conventions for AD objects – determined if conventions are in accordance with Army guidance and if workable as a solution.
